Time for change

It's about the aging "theory" of CO2 being deemed a poison that is making out climate spiral out of control. This has been predicted for 25 years now. Yes, the theory has been predicting the dangerous effects of CO2 on our climate for a quarter of a century. I still shovel snow, go to Fla. to get warm every year, pay heating bills and ski a lot. This is obviously a cultural issue, not scientific and the growing debate is coming to a head as our planet cycles into another unexplainable cool trend. Recently record cold temperatures have been set. That was NOT predicted. And consider that Greenpeace loves to brag about how they and Rachel Carson's efforts during the last 50 years have improved our air quality, provided environmental laws and protections and most of all changed attitudes. Back in the smoggy 70's a river caught on fire in Ohio and shooting bald eagles was fun.
We are living longer than at any time in history and history will laugh and cry at the very notion that civilized humans regarded life giving CO2, one of the building blocks of life, comes out of a babies breath and makes my beer fizzy is going to melt the poles and cause mass starvation in 100 years. The theory is an insult not only to human intelligence but to Mother Nature herself. It is a perfect storm of science, media, entertainment, Internet and most of all fear. In 1900 they wondered what to do with all of the horses needed by the year 2000. Oil is bad for peace and our amount of garbage is awful but lets look forward to the future of progress with perspective, not fear. History will laugh at this and view Global Warming to Liberals, what WND’s were to right-wingers.
